Príncipe de Viana 1423 Reserva 2010 was selected to join Prowein’s 100 Best Wines from Spain.
The most renowned wine experts gathered around the over 300 samples competing at the second edition of this contest. According to the jury, the quality level of the wines entered was very high, which made the choice of the 100 best wines very difficult.
However, for the expert jury, Príncipe de Viana 1423 Reserva‘s excellent relation between quality and price deserved to be among those best wines classified with an Excellent quality-price ratio. The jury further praised its authenticity and elegant style.
The winners could be tasted during the three Prowein days in the freetasting area of ICEX/Wines from Spain’s Official Pavilion, Hall 10-A201. In addition, the results were published in English in Wine Business International, and in German in Weinwirtschaft, Meininger Sommelier and FIZZZ magazines.
With a Tempranillo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Garnacha coupage, Príncipe de Viana 1423 Reserva was carefully made with the best grapes from selected vineyards at the estate.
Príncipe de Viana is a reference for quality, unique style and research to offer consumers the answers to their needs. With this philosophy, the brand has earned the recognition of international experts and press, such as Guía Peñín, the American magazine International Wine Cellar, or The Wine Advocate (Robert Parker).
