April 3rd, 2018. Príncipe de Viana 1423 Reserva 2013 recieves 90 POINTS from Wine Enthusiast.
This notable American magazine has just announced the rating awarded to Príncipe de Viana’s special Reserva. But this fantastic mark has not come alone: Wine Enthusiast has also granted Príncipe de Viana Reserva 2013, the other Reserva wine of the range, a meritorious 89 point rating.
1423 is the year when King Carlos III the Noble of Navarre created the Princedom of Viana for his grandson. With a coupage of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Garnacha Tinta, Príncipe de Viana’s special 1423 Reserva was made with the best grapes from vineyards selected at the estate. It is complex, with a fruity bouquet of ripe cherries, blackberries, and well integrated notes of chocolate, pipe tobacco, cinnamon and roasted coffee. This wine lingers on the palate forever.
Príncipe de Viana’s philosophy of the highest possible quality and respect for the vineyard has earned the recognition of international experts and press, such as Guía Peñín, the American magazine International Wine Cellar, or The Wine Advocate (Robert Parker).
