March 2017. Príncipe de Viana Chardonnay Fermentado en Barrica 2016 has received a Gold Medal from international wine contest MUNDUS VINI.
Intense aromas of citrus fruits such as lemon and lime, and subtle notes of tropical pineapple, are supported by hints of vanilla and baked bread. Sweet and fresh on the palate, this white wine has a very balanced acidity and a long aftertaste.
This is just but one more of the many awards and accolades collected by this wine from the most prestigious international wine contests and experts over the past consecutive years.
In addition to this barrel-fermented white wine, further references in the same range have also obtained excellent results at this edition of the Mundus Vini competition. Such is the case of the Príncipe de Viana Edición Limitada 2013 which has received a GOLD MEDAL, or Príncipe de Viana Reserva 2012 which has been granted a Silver Medal.
