March 2017. Príncipe de Viana Edición Blanca 2016 has been chosen Best White Wine from D.O. Navarra 2017 by the Best Wines from Navarra 2017 Challenge.
A panel of experts selects the best wines from the denomination of origin every year. The chosen references become ambassadors of the region for the promotion of the excellence and quality of Navarra’s wines at official events held inside and outside the Spanish borders.
Its blend of 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Chardonnay ratifies the perfect synergy of two very different grape varieties. The winemaking is especially careful.
The result is Príncipe de Viana Edición Blanca, a white wine with an attractive and bright greenish yellow colour and fresh notes of citric fruits such as lime and grapefruit, intertwined with hints of pineapple, apricot and box. The palate is fresh, full-bodied and with a balanced acidity, all of which provides the wine with a lively fresh character and a long aftertaste.
