Príncipe de Viana’s relentless search for new expressions of terroir brings to the market this February a very special limited edition white wine.
Bodegas Príncipe de Viana remains loyal to their commitment to offer consumers new products and hopes to impress them once again with the original combination of flavours of this white, last of a trilogy of limited edition wines.
Its blend of 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Chardonnay ratifies the perfect synergy of two very different grape varieties. The winemaking is especially careful. After a brief maceration, the must is gravity-extracted and then fermented at low temperature in order to boost varietal aromas.
The result is Príncipe de Viana Edición Blanca, a white wine with an attractive and bright greenish yellow colour and fresh notes of citric fruits such as lime and grapefruit, intertwined with hints of pineapple, apricot and box. The palate is fresh, full-bodied and with a balanced acidity, all of which provides the wine with a lively fresh character and a long aftertaste.
The packaging follows the same elegant design as the two preceding wines, Edición Limitada Tinto Crianza and Edición Rosa, which reflects the special personality of this collection.
