Príncipe de Viana Tempranillo Roble 2014 was selected to join Prowein’s 100 Best Wines from Spain.
The most renowned wine experts gathered around the over 300 samples competing at the second edition of this contest. According to the jury, the quality level of the wines entered was very high, which made the choice of the 100 best wines very difficult.
However, for the expert jury, Príncipe de Viana Tempranillo Roble 2014‘s excellent relation between quality and price deserved to be among those best wines classified with an Excellent quality-price ratio.
The winners could be tasted during the three Prowein days in the free-tasting area of ICEX/Wines from Spain’s Official Pavilion. In addition, the results were published in English in Wine Business International, and in German in Weinwirtschaft, Meininger Sommelier and FIZZZ magazines.
Príncipe de Viana Tempranillo Roble 2014 reproduces the virtues of this grape variety faithfully and reveals the typical aromas and flavours of the noble Tempranillo, with a touch of oak barrel ageing to add the ideal structure without disguising the fruit.
